- BRUNO DUBOIS, who last year led the Chinese team SailGP, has been appointed team manager of France SailGP.
- DENMARK SAILGP TEAM, the new team on the SailGP circuit revealed the line up of their crew for the 2020 season which opens in Sydney at the end of February. It will consist of: Nicolai Sehested (helm), Tom Johnson (wing trimmer – Aus), Rasmus Kostner (flight controller), Martin Kirketerp (grinder), Hans-Christian Rosendahl (grinder) and Lars-Peter Rosendahl (grinder). Jonas Hugh-Christensen is the team manager.

- INCIDENCE Sails is looking for a designer and CAD technician, for their manufacturing site specializing in membranes for high-tech sails, 3-5 years experience desired, permanent position based in La Rochelle (France).
- GUNBOAT is looking for a head of after-sales service for the backup and technical support of the Gunboat 68; permanent position based in La Grande Motte (France).
- SPINDRIFT RACING is looking for a full time Technical Director to oversee and develop the team’s fleet, based in La Trinité-sur-Mer, France.

- EUDES LIBAUDIERES, finishing his DUT GEA (business administration), is looking for an internship in sports marketing and sponsorship from April 14, 2020 to the end of June 2020, ideally within an offshore racing company.
- EFFETS MER offers two internships as communication assistants and community manager; internships of 4 to 6 months starting in March and based in Paris, travel will be required.

- CHARLOTTE BONIS, after two years with Fabrice Payen’s Vent Debout team, is offering her services as a project manager in logistics, communications and administration.
- MARINE CERBELLE, head cook for Ineos Team UK, Dongfeng, the Volvo Ocean Race, Macif… is now available to help teams with their supplies as they prepare for the 2020 Vendée Globe.
- PIERRE-ANTOINE TESSON, a naval architect who studied at Southampton Solent University and has worked for two years preparing boats (Figaro, Class40 and Imoca), is looking for a job in an ocean racing design office.

- WIND. The first sail racing film festival, co-hosted by Tip & Shaft and Poppop, will take place on Tuesday, February 4 at 7:30 pm at the Grand Rex in Paris. On the program: new and exclusive films, with the greatest sailors on screen… and in the room. Info and reservations on wind-festival.com. More than 1,100 places have already been reserved.
- SUNSAIL, a specialist in sailing holidays, joins Wind’s partners, while Sam Davies is the festival’s official godmother
- TIP & SHAFT/CONNECT NANTES 2020, the 7th edition of the business event of competitive sailing, will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the CCI in Nantes (France).
- MINI-TRANSAT TRAINING. After a first event which sold out at the Paris Nautic, Tip & Shaft offers a second session of its training “Prepare well for a Mini-Transat project” (in French) in Paris on Sunday, January 26. As always it is hosted by the former president of the Mini Class, Lucas Montagne. Registrations are open here, there are only 4 places left.

- PARDO YACHTS, specialists of high-end open hulls, becomes official supplier of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team by providing 3 boats of 38 and 43 feet.
- GUY COTTEN was selected to represent Finistère at the “Made in France” Grand Exhibition on 18 and 19 January at the Elysée Palace. The famous Yellow Rosbras jacket will be on display.
- EMIRATES has renewed its partnership with Team New Zealand; the airline will also be the official carrier of the America’s Cup, as well as “presenting partner” of the ACWS in Portsmouth.
