APPOINTMENTS & DEPARTURES
FRANCIS LE GOFF has been appointed race director for the second edition of the Vendée Arctic Les Sables d’Olonne. He will be assisted by Yann Chateau, Claire Renou and Pierre Hays.
ALEXANDRA RICKHAM, double Paralympic sailing medalist (2012 and 2016), has been named World Sailing‘s head of sustainability.
RICARDO NAVARRO (technical delegate), PINAR COSKUNER GENÇ (principal race officer), ANA SANCHEZ DEL CAMPO FERRER (chair of international jury) and JURGEN CLUYTMANS (chair of technical committee) have been appointed by World Sailing for Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
VITTORIO and NICO MALINGRI have just joined the Italian crew of Translated 9 team which will take part in the first edition of the Ocean Globe Race in 2023. Vittorio will be co-skipper alongside Marco Trombetti, Nico will be watch leader. The crew must be completed by volunteers who are invited to apply.

INTERNSHIPS
THE YACHT CLUB DE MONACO offers two internships, the first as a disabled sailing supervisor (July-August 2022), the second as an event sports project assistant, a 6-month internship to be filled immediately, fluent English essential.

CLARISSE CRÉMER will compete this season in the Bermuda 1000 Race and the Vendée Arctique Les Sables d’Olonne on the former Groupe Apicil, bought by his companion Tanguy Le Turquais from Damien Seguin at the end of 2021. The boat will be leased and renamed Banque Populaire for a few weeks.
THE ATF GROUP has announced its commitment to Damien Seguin, who is still looking for a co-partner for the Vendée Globe 2024.
FABRICE PAYEN has announced his intention to line up at the start of his second consecutive Route du Rhum on his 50-foot trimaran Team Vent Debout (Rhum Multi class), with the aim of promoting disability, he is looking for partners for this.
THE WORLD MATCH RACING TOUR has announced the postponement of its 2021 final which was to take place from March 15 to 20 in Shenzen (China).
THE 44CUP has unveiled its calendar for 2022, with 5 events from March to December, among them the world championship in Portoroz, Slovenia, (12-16 October).
THE MASSILIA CUP will celebrate its 40th edition from April 1st to 3rd, it will be open to IRC (solo and crew), Osiris, one-designs (Surprise, Grand Surprise, J70 and SB20) and the 1 meter HRV class.
