GRAND PAVOIS ORGANISATION has announced that more than 25 Class40s will set off on 1 April for the second edition of the Défi Atlantique, a crewed return race to the Route du Rhum, which will set off from Guadeloupe, a major partner in the event, bound for La Rochelle via a stopover in Horta (Azores).
INTERACTION, already a partner of the brothers Yannig and Erwan Livory in Figaro, has signed up with Erwan Thibouméry for this same Route du Rhum which he will race in the Rhum Multi class on the former Dupon Duran II.

LAUNCHES
FARR YACHT DESIGN has announced the launch in Europe of the Farr X2, a 9.20 meter racing one-design designed to be sailed with a reduced crew. Designed by Australian Bret Perry and built at XSP in Singapore, it will be distributed in Europe by Sea Ventures.
THE FOILING YOUTH WORLD SERIES was officially launched at Foiling Week, it will be a circuit of 4-5 events which will start in 2023 and will be contested on different platforms (Moth, Waszp, Nacra 15, wingfoil, kitefoil, 69F …).
ECO-SAILING DESIGN was officially launched in Lorient, a three-year collaborative project which aims in particular to integrate Breton companies into a research program and development to work on new eco-design tools. 11 companies have joined up to date.
